FUNDRAISING – A GLASS OF MILK FOR EVERY CHILD

Last 5 April we held our traditional biannual fundraising event ‘A Glass of Milk for Every Child’ in the main streets and shopping centres of Vigo.

Our goal is to raise the necessary funds to ensure ‘a glass of milk’ in the daily diet of the children in the Mishikishi Mission.


  • There are more than one million orphan children in Zambia, out of a population of 12 million people. Sadly, this number of orphans multiplies every day owing to uncontrolled AIDS. They do not receive any subsidies for health care or educational materials, or food. For many months, larders are empty and the diet is based on a dish of NSHIMA, maize flour boiled and accompanied by some tropical fruit.

  • With only €110/month we ensure a daily glass of milk for every child in the Mishikishi Mission.
